Description

The birds (especially white-eyes) had been shouting at something high up in a tree for a good couple of hours. When I went to investigate, I could see nothing at all.

As I was about to turn away, something fell 6 m out of the tree landing in front of my foot.

A slugeater!! What on earth was he doing 6 m up in the eugenia???

He looked a bit winded, but otherwise unhurt. After a minute to compose himself, he pootled off into the undergrowth.

Why was he up there? And why did he just fall out?
