Description

A herd of Desert elephants were seen along this dry river bid in the Namib Desert. There is no landing strip for many miles in this part of the country, so our bush pilot just landed on a calcrete area of the desert floor to explore this remote part of the desert. There are only a limited number of elephant herds that are adapted to the Namib Desert and survive here.
