Hyaline spores, subapical globulus absent. Spores 40-45µm x 5µm. Dark cell 13-14µm x 8µm, transverse septum across dark cell.

Differs from Lundquist's description in that the peridium is not violet/purple (I have examined a number of fruitbodies), is not hairy, and the spore measurements are somewhat shorter.
