Less than 10 hours to go until the NYC City Nature Challenge starts. A few cities have started already and you can track everyone's progress here: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/city-nature-challenge-2018
Some cities are staying up until midnight to get some observations in. Who will be our first?!

Remember, multiple different examples of the same species are OK to do.
Weeds are good! Even if you have no idea what they are, just get in close, and snap a photo. :)
I am far away in the West Indies, but I am already trying to help with ID-ing stuff as much as possible, even though I have rather poor WiFi. I will keep checking in as much as I can.
