Tortoises are on the move!!

June 6, 2020. It is that time of year again!! I have been seeing a lot of tortoises on the move here in the last 2 weeks! Your help is needed in getting others signed on to our AL Gopher Tortoise Project. Remember, gopher tortoises are federally protected in Mobile, Washington and Choctaw counties and state protected in the other counties. Enjoy them from afar and don't forget to snap a photo and provide gps coordinates so we can add your observation to our growing list.
