Project Introduction

I created this project as a sister project to Lepidoptera Life Cycles (Australia) https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/lepidoptera-life-cycles-australia . It is based on the same principles as that project but aims to capture sequences where attempts at moth rearing or observations of larva development result in adult parasites emerging rather than moths. Feel free to suggest any ways that it could be improved and please join if it is of interest to you.

Thanks David :-)
Done, added a Bristle fly but only have the one obs. I'll look into it later to add the case; not sure if I have a record of when we found it though.
Also a typo @stephen169
Cheers

Sounds very interesting David! Not sure how much I will be able to add but certainly will be keeping an eye on anyone's sightings :)

That looks good. I don't make many observations for this but quite a few of the moths I have tried to raise have ended up as parasites.
So do I add the caterpillars and then parasites that emerge? And they all get linked together with the Similar Observation Set field?

Yes @scottwgavins , the main thing when adding observations to the projects is to link them some way. Putting the iNaturalist sighting number for the first observation in the sequence for all of the observations is the standard way to do it.

With my observations I also add the value you use for "similar observation set" to each observation in a sequence as a tag. That way you can click on the tag for any of the observations and all of the observations in the sequence will appear in your browser.

Looks good, thanks for the tag :)
