Today October 1, 2020 news report suggests that Hood Mtn. has burned pretty extensively in the Glass Fire. The Glass Fire began on Sunday, September 27 in Napa County. It is believed that embers ignited two separate fires in Sonoma County called the Boysen and the Shady Fires. All three fires eventually merged and were called the Glass Fire. The two fires started on Calistoga and Los Alamos Roads. The Los Alamos Road area was located between burn scars of two previous fires.
