BioBlitz Welcome

Thank you for participating in the April 7, 2017 Moore Park clean up and BioBlitz. The point of the BioBlitz is to help the City of Dallas gain a better understand of the organisms on City of Dallas Property. Today you will be looking at a combination of Park and Recreation AND Trinity Watershed Management properties. We are particularly interested in pollinator species, pollinator friendly plant species, and invasive species. Make an attempt to identify, but if you can't make a descriptive identification and tap the help ID icon.

Poison ivy
Virginia Creeper
Foxglove penstemon
Great blue heron OR Great Egret
bumble bee
Feral hog OR feral hog sign (tracks, marking post)
NON honeybee species of bee
MONARCH BUTTERFLY
A beetle species
Invasive plant species

Citizen Science based biological survey to assist the City of Dallas in its pollinator conservation efforts. We will take any organism (minus humans and dogs) within the confines of the project area.
