Acadia NP: Dragonfly Discovery

This project is a compilation of observations made during Acadia National Park's "Dragonfly Discovery" citizen science program from 2014-2017. Dragonfly nymphs collected from most sites were analyzed for mercury content as part of the nationwide "Dragonfly Mercury Project" (see related iNaturalist project titled "Dragonfly Mercury Project - NPS"). Maine elementary schools and park visitors assisted with collecting dragonflies and other aquatic invertebrates. less ↑
