Researchers Warn of a Spreading Fungus Deadly to Snakes

A state herpetologist recommends wiping the bottom of boots with bleach wipes when herping. Please help stop the fungus from spreading by keeping clean!

Two new Goggia species

Goggia lineata and G. rupicola are split into Goggia incognita sp. nov. and Goggia matzikamaensis sp. nov. The two new species are geographically separated from their sister species, see figure below.
