About
The purpose of this project is to document and celebrate the freshwater algal diversity of Western New York, US. Freshwater algae are typically microscopic organisms across a wide variety of kingdoms and phyla, but all employ photosynthesis to varying amounts. Please upload a microscope photo if possible, but at least an in situ macro-photo.
