Thank you for a great BioBlitz!

Thank you all for exploring Rock Creek Park with me and @jfrancis on Friday! We had a great time and made an impressive number of observations despite the cold.

So far, 27 people have shared 167 observations of at least 29 different species. Great work! The species count will continue to climb as more observations get identified (and a few of you who joined the project haven't uploaded any observations yet, so please do if you have some). Don't forget to check and see if anyone has added identifications to your observations that you can agree with. Twelve people have helped with identifications so far.

The journal feature of a project is a good way to follow up with BioBlitz participants to thank them, remind them to add observations and ids, and highlight any exciting finds. I'm impressed that some of you managed to find animal (like http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/2718592), even on such a chilly day!

Thank you to everyone who already joined the project! If you haven't yet, you still can. You can also tag people who added observations but haven't joined the project and they will get a notification if you tag them. (Tagging @gres3114 @th92105 @virginia6 @kcarano @lisakeysmathews @suelahti @stac99 @lp1085 @roddymccorley @alexandra12 @jacobbreslin @jediem @kayla9 @ana17 @raberto1)

We look forward to seeing the great observations that come in from all of your BioBlitzes across the country!
