10/2/14

Today, I monitored the camera from 5:38 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The water clarity was minimal. The visibility was low and the kelp movement was normal. I saw quite a bit of fish activity. A lot of small schools of fish. Maybe Pacific Sardine or California Grunion. The Garibaldi made frequent visits to the camera dome and even snacked on some of the build up. Made for an interesting close up observation. I saw a couple new species that I haven't seen yet, but was unable to clearly identify any of them.

About

Observe and record what species of fish you see. Recording frequency of sitings and approximate time you saw the fish. Also include the clarity of the water and how much visibility you have. Indicate by observing the kelp if you think it is calm or rough seas.
