Many of our photographic observations are works of art - plants or creatures beautifully composed, compiled or artily presented in relation to their surroundings, large or small. Some flowers, insects, slime-molds, or furry mammals are exquisite in themselves - and their presentation divine. We have Projects to cluster species around a particular topic or context - freshwater, mountains, intertidal zones, pests, eco-restoration, or lawns. It seems reasonable then that we have a place to showcase the artworks of iNaturalist. Whatever takes your fancy - maybe even a poem or phrase may convey some deeper sense of beauty, connectedness or meaning. They are your picks of your records or of someone else's. Maybe it is a bit like 'Faves' but more ... aesthetic, esoteric, quirky ...? We will see!
Jean Cocteau famously said 'Art is Science made clear'. I like that :-)
