NEW! Sound Recordings Can Now be Uploaded Directly to iNaturalist

Thanks to the amazing and tireless efforts of the folks behind iNaturalist central, users can now upload sound recordings directly to iNaturalist rather than having to use SoundCloud as a host. When you go to the Add page for uploading your observations, you can click on the button that says "Choose files", and choose sound files from you own computer (WAV or MP3 files up to 20 MB).

Thanks! I recorded a BTBW in St. Louis using Recorder Plus HD (an excellent app) and want to upload the mp3 file of it to make the sighting "research" worthy. Unfortunately, the iNaturalist website is down right now, so it'll have to wait for a bit.
