Pee Dee Land Trust (PDLT) is launching the Black Creek Bio-Blitz Program, a year-long initiative to engage children from local schools and youth groups as “citizen scientists” helping us to inventory the native plants and animals that inhabit our nature preserve along Black Creek in Darlington County.

Students will use their natural abilities to identify the trees, shrubs, plants, mushrooms, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects and fish that occupy the rich oak-pine forest and high quality streams – places in their community that will remain “forever wild.” less ↑
