Observe and identify between male and female monarch butterflies and caterpillars at the Boston Nature Center

• Take pictures of Monarchs
• Have location coordinates
• Description of habitat/plant

Males: have visible scent glands on their hindwings and they are usually smaller in size than the females.

Females: have thicker veins on their wings and they are usually bigger in size than the males.
