Welcome!

Welcome to the Bullock County, Alabama Biodiversity project! This project was initiated to help South Highland Middle School (SHMS) students learn more about the biodiversity of the county where they live. General citizenry are welcome to enter observations from Bullock County as well as the team of students at SHMS.

The goals are to enhance the seventh grade life science curriculum, promote scientific observation and increase awareness of species diversity in the natural spaces of Bullock County. Join the SHMS students on the journey to connect with the natural world around them. We look forward to seeing the project grow and future classes at SHMS build on the foundation.
