Sunday Intermediate Class - CAPLESS FUNGI (Fungi but Not Mushroom)

Tasks;

  1. Learn 3 identifying parts of fungi kingdom.
  2. Identify the morphology - mycelium, sporangia & fruitbody shapes of the fungi.
  3. Take scale pictures of each identifying parts plus a persepective picture.
  4. Make observation notes regarding the appearance, habits, specific habitat and lifestages of the fungi (if known).
  5. Make 3 observation each for every student - 3 different CAPLESS FUNGI each.

6.Publish the observation in iNaturalist app and assign the location details as OBSCURED located the class area (Kg Sungai Rumput).

  1. Suggest an identification the Taxon of the fungi up to species identification. Use iNaturalist, google or whatever help u need to get an idea of what is the family, genus and species.

Thursday Class - FERNS

Tasks;

  1. Learn 3 identifying parts of fern plants.
  2. Identify the parts - rhizomes, sporangia & frond shapes + new shoots with viola head formation.
  3. Take scale pictures of each identifying parts plus a persepective picture.
  4. Make observation notes regarding the appearance, habits, specific habitat and lifestages of the fern.
  5. Make 5 observation each for every student - 5 different FERNS.

6.Publish the observation in iNaturalist app or website; make sure the date, location is correct (Kg Sungai Rumput, Selangor) but OBSCURE the location privacy.

  1. Suggest an identification the Taxon of the fungi up to species identification. Use iNaturalist, google or whatever help u need to get an idea of what is the family, genus and species.
  2. Bring at least one additional information about the Fern either ethnobotany, uses, cultural, medicinal, edibility or any other information.

Senior Class Tuesdays - DEADWOOD FUNGI

  1. Learn 4 identifying parts of fungi.
  2. Identify the parts - mycelial base, hymenium, stipe & pileus (cap)
  3. Take scale pictures of each identifying parts plus a persepective picture.
  4. Make observation notes regarding the appearance, habits, specific habitat and lifestages of the fungi.
  5. Make 5 observation each for every student - 5 different fungi.

6.Publish the observation in iNaturalist app or website under own account.

  1. Suggest an identification the Taxon of the fungi up to species identification. Use iNaturalist suggestion itself, use google or books or whatever help u need to get an idea of what is the family, genus and species. Either me or another expert around the world will confirm it along with one of your friend in the same project group.
  2. Bring at least one additional information about the Fungi either ethnobotany, uses, cultural, medicinal, edibility or any other information.
