CNC 2017 Details!

We are proud to join the City Nature Challenge this year, representing Miami-Dade County's incredible biodiversity to the United States.

Events are currently as follows:
• (Pre) Everglades National Park Nature Walk/iNaturalist Training: Shark Valley, 4/7/17 @ 10am
• (Pre) Learn about the City Nature Challenge in the Eco-Village at Rock the Ocean: Ft. Lauderdale Beach, 4/7-4/9
• (Pre) Introduction to iNaturalist for Coastal Restoration Monitoring: Miami-Dade College Hialeah Campus, 4/12/17 @ noon
• #CNCMiami Kickoff at Oleta River State Park Butterfly Garden, 4/14/17 @ 9am
• #CNCMiami Deering Estate, 4/14/17 @ 10am
• #CNCMiami Tropical Audubon Society, 4/15/17 @ 9am
• #CNCMiami Miami Science Barge/Museum Park. 4/15/17 @ 2pm
• #CNCMiami Biscayne National Park, 4/16/17 @ 9am
• #CNCMiami Miami Waterkeeper at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park @ 4pm (pre-registration is required for free park entry)

If you can't make it to a formal event, please remember to photograph and enter into iNaturalist all of the living things you see over that period of time, or consider IDing some of the observations made during the Challenge! Or, if you'd like to host an event, let me know and I'll add it to our calendar!

Good luck! So glad to see Florida getting more involved with iNat! I must add, though, as a partisan participant: Go San Francisco Bay Area!
