The streams, rivers, marshes, wetlands, forests and oak woodlands of the Napa River Watershed, which covers the entire western half of Napa County, provide a striking number of rich habitats. They are, however, in grave peril from timber harvesting and deforestation,leading inevitably to vineyard conversion. The purpose of this project is to document and catalog the plants and animals utilizing this watershed and being threatened, if not eliminated, by habitat destruction. Please be as specific as possible when documenting the location.
Los arroyos, ríos, pantanos, humedales, bosques y bosques de robles de la cuenca del río Napa, que cubre toda la mitad occidental del condado de Napa, proporcionan una sorprendente cantidad de hábitats ricos.
