To record locations of freshwater sponges in lakes, ponds, rivers and streams of Canada. To determine species distributions, abundance, and their associations with other wildlife - fish, ducks, and freshwater invertebraes. To determine the water properties (how much flow, nutrients, and pH) associated with sponge populations.
