Green roofs are unique rooftop garden habitats with potential to benefit societies and wildlife. This project explores global green roof wildlife and contributes to previous records of which species can occupy these habitats (for example, see this green roof pollinator checklist article). Recommended: select the Has Photos filter to hide past project records lacking photos.
Instructions:
All wild or non-wild plants and animals can be added from green roofs, green walls (vertical green roofs), ordinary rooftop gardens, or spontaneous vegetation atop inhabited or abandoned buildings. When adding photos of insects visiting plants, enter the plant name in the plant field or Flowering Plants if unknown, and leave the plant field blank for all other observations.
