Gulf Coast Monarch Migration Watch
While monitoring Monarch butterfly observations during recent weeks, I've noticed numerous reports of Monarchs in coastal Louisiana and Texas that are clearly in migration mode but not reported at Journey North. The project was created to track those observations.
This project is for tracking gatherings of Monarch butterflies during the southward migration in the fall. Of particular interest are observations of migrating Monarchs along coastal Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the Florida panhandle.
