About

Leaf-mining larvae can be found in several different unrelated insect orders, including various moths, flies, beetles, and sawflies. The aim of this project is to compile in one place images of the leaf-mining insects of California, and particularly the leaf mines themselves, which are often unique in both appearance and the plant that they occur on.
