Magnoliaceae Collection at Lincoln

This project records the collection at Lincoln University that includes about 150 species, hybrids and cultivars of Liriodendron, Magnolia, Manglietia & Michelia. The largest number belong to the well known genus Magnolia. Most of the plants represented within this collection are native to temperate Asia and North America.

A November 2011 report “Lincoln University magnolia collection” was prepared by Roy Edwards and is available from the Lincoln University library.
