The purpose of this project is to collect and share natural history observations and species records by participants in the Piedmont Region course of the Maryland Master Naturalist Program. The Program's mission is "to engage citizens as stewards of Maryland's natural ecosystems and resources through science-based education and volunteer service in their communities."
