Plants and animals observed at Navajo National Monument. The monument covers 604 acres. Keet Seel and Inscription House units are non-contiguous from the Administrative and Betatakin units. Make a note if your observations are recorded on Navajo Nation trust land. The hiking trail to Keet Seel cliff dwellings is primarily on Navajo Nation trust land.
