The Newtown Creek floristic survey includes curating an herbarium collection. This project is specific to this effort! Only take photos of plants you collect - all other observations should go in the more general Newtown Creek iNaturalist Project.

Note: Only collect samples if there are at least 20 individuals (ie, do not collect rare plants). Try to get a flowering or fruiting body and keep all parts, including roots if possible! less ↑
