NHMLA invites you to participate in a bioblitz of the rocky intertidal areas, using iNaturalist to document the marine life, while UCLA teaches a new method to monitor biodiversity, collecting environmental DNA samples from the sandy area of the park.

The data we collect will be compiled into state-wide efforts (such as Snapshot Cal Coast) so scientists can gain a better understanding of the organisms that live in this section of the California coast.
