We are a group of graduate students participating in an intensive Tropical field ecology course in Costa Rica. We will be visiting Palo Verde, La Selva, Cuerici, and Las cruces biological stations. While we are spending much of our time delving into research questions, one cannot help but stop and admire the incredible biodiversity this country supports.
The goal of this project is to serve as a platform to share our observations with each other and with a broader audience. A central theme of this course is collaboration, and through this we can help one another describe the diverse organisms we observe, share our observations with others, and compile an interactive species list our trip. less ↑
