I walked with Barrett from 4:00-5:15 pm.
We documented all the newts that were marked with flags on 2/10 morning. Stacie marked 83 newts at 9 am, from the parking lot until a bit after Array #2 (flags 1-84, #80 doesn't exist).
We found all 83 newts. In a few cases, it wasn't clear who's who, but I compared all 83 newts (+13 unmarked newt) with Stacie's photos from the morning, and I corrected everything in the comments. If the text disagrees with the photos, showing a different number, the number in the comment is the correct one.
All numbered newts were entered into this project. The rest of the newts weren't entered to any project, other than one, that was found in front of HTH, and was entered into the population study project.
The weather was sunny, nice. The last rain was last week.
Traffic: 3 truck, 105 cars, 15 bikes, 3 pedestrians, about 14 parked cars on the road and in the parking lot.

@merav, I'm wondering why the 13 "new" newts weren't entered into any project.
@merav, @newtpatrol, I only see 83 observations for the 2/10/2021 survey at 9am, but there are 84 flags. I exported the data and found that the newt for Flag #80 is missing.
@merav, @tyap, I added a column to the spreadsheet with a unique ID for each newt. Each ID has a link that will display the newt across all timepoints. I've only finished experiment 3 so far. I'm working on the rest, but it will take a couple days.
wow, this is incredible! I hope it leaves you enough time to eat and sleep, cause it looks very time-consuming!
and yes, #80 is missing... I think it never existed, maybe @newtpatrol knows - do you remember if you had flag #80? You didn't post a photo, and I didn't find that flag out there.
Hm, sorry, I'm not sure what happened with flag 80, I obviously didn't notice that it was missing. I looked through my photos and don't see any photos with it, so either the flag itself was missing, or I somehow skipped past it. As far as I can tell, there's not an observation missing, nor did the flag/newt disappear from the road etc. So yes, 83 it is, there is no #80.
