Guided Nature Walks Occurring at the Dana Adobe
To celebrate the newly constructed mile of trails, the DANA Adobe Cultural Center has started hosting guided trail walks! During the walks, trained volunteers lead small groups along the woodland trails that extend along the Rancho. Topics of discussion include wildflowers, plant and tree identification, natural history, and the cultural and land use history of the Dana Adobe Rancho Nipomo.
Participants can take the opportunity to document any organisms they encounter into iNaturalist and help to document the flora and fauna surrounding the Dana Adobe.
Guided trail walks occur on the second Sunday of every month and are held at 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM. Walks will begin at the DANA Adobe Cultural Center and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Walks are FREE, however, donations are appreciated.
