800 records

Thanks to all who've uploaded their SACReD field trip records to this project.

So far, 800 records, and 356 species have been catalogued in this iNaturalist project since March 2018. We're aiming for more than 1000 records and 500+ species by the end of the year.

The SACReD project records are also linked to a number of specific project pages, covering many of the major marine groups. That includes fishes (e.g. Australasian Fishes project from Australian Museum, and the Fishes of South Australia), gastropods, cephalopods, echinoderms, crustaceans, cnidarians, algae, and several others.

Well done to all South Australian naturalists. Your records are useful for research and education, from global to local scales.

Thanks. We’re up to around 1750 observations loaded into the system, and more than 520 marine species now.
