SA iNaturalists - November 2021 Update



This November saw 7,905 observations covering 1,959 species from a total of 449 observers. There were 111 species receiving their first iNat record in SA. This month there were 63 new observers contributing their first observations in SA. Upon this months observations, 503 identifiers contributed a total of 13,254 identifications.
Uploads for SA at the end of November stand at 270,543 observations of 8,387 species from 3,881 observers with, as of today, 4,426 identifiers providing 491,155 identifications.

Featured Project

Wapma Thura - Southern Flinders Ranges National Park. Recently proclaimed, this park comprises the former Telowie Gorge Conservation Park, Wirrabara Range Conservation Park, Spaniards Gully Conservation Park and the 'Napperby Block' (formerly part of Mount Remarkable National Park).

Park boundary updates have also been made to Charleston CP, Kaiserstuhl CP, Mount Remarkable CP and Ikara-Flinders Ranges NP.
Deep Creek Conservation Park and Cleland Conservation Park have been reformed as Deep Creek National Park and Cleland National Park.
