Stonehill Biodiversity

Thanks to everyone that participated in the first Stonehill College BioBlitz! I encourage you to continue submitting your sightings from Stonehill to the broader iNaturalist project, Stonehill Biodiversity: http://www.inaturalist.org/projects/stonehill-biodiversity.

Additionally, I'd greatly appreciate if you add your BioBlitz sightings to the Stonehill Biodiversity project. You can quickly do this using the Batch Edit function in your observations section:
-First, join the Stonehill Biodiversity project by click the "Join this project" link above the project photo here: http://www.inaturalist.org/projects/stonehill-biodiversity.
-Hover over your username in the top right of the iNaturalist page, then click on Observations in the dropdown menu.
-Once you see your list of observations, click on the Batch Edit button to make checkboxes appear next to each observation.
-Select all the sightings from the Stonehill BioBlitz (using the Select All option might be helpful for this).
-Once the relevant sightings are selected, click the "Add to project" link at the top of the observation list, then click the Add button next to Stonehill Biodiversity.

Please don't hesitate to comment on this post if you can't figure out how to add your sightings to the new project. Thanks again!

Invitation to Stonehill BioBlitz

Stonehill faculty & local naturalists will lead teams of students in a comprehensive biodiversity assay of our campus on Sunday, October 4th, 2015, 8 to 11 (ish) in the morning.

This will serve as a much-needed baseline to follow changes in flora and fauna here into the future. Plus, it is a chance for you to develop knowledge and skills in field identification of species.

If you would like to participate, please sign up on the sheet on Prof. Mooney's office door (SSC 104) by Sept. 30.
