Swampscott Biodiversity
Welcome to the Swampscott Biodiversity Project! Please see the about section for more information and watch this space as we gear up for Swampscott's role in the 2018 Boston Area City Nature Challenge. Our Swampscott CitSci Teens program will be launching soon to help connect our community to our biodiversity. In the mean time, please join us in documenting the town's biodiversity. Any and all observations will help to support our efforts.
As you explore the existing data, you'll notice an existing cluster around the Hadley Elementary School. Girl Scouts of Ocean Bay has an ongoing monitoring project of a new native pollinator garden they planted in the spring of 2017. Please consider sharing any pollinator observations you have of this space and learn more at their project site (https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/hadley-elementary-school-pollinator-garden) and website (https://sites.google.com/view/hadleypollinatorgarden/home).
