Green Coast is an award to rural South African coastal zones that meet the Green Coast criteria. Green Coast recognizes the vast natural coastline within South Africa that comprises of many important coastal habitats and ecosystems. Green Coast aims at improving sustainable tourism through the promotion of these rural South African coastal zones.
