Hey all - I borrowed this idea from Russell @pfau_tarleton - he uses a similar tag to keep track of all the tiny beetles he finds at lights and such. I discussed this with him awhile back, and he didn't seem to object to me stealing his idea for a project - so here it is! I thought it would be cool to share and see all the tiny things people have observed.
Please feel free to add your own observations to this project, at your leisure. I chose "under 4mm" as a cutoff point since I think it will include a lot of interesting species that are still pretty small - but it's an honor-system sort of project, since exact measurements in the field can be difficult.
I'm tagging a few local TX folks here who shoot a lot of tiny critters - feel free to add anyone else who you think may be interested in this project :)
