Species Identification
Hi everyone! When entering an observation, please make sure to click the "lookup" button to the right of the species field after typing it in. This will allow you to choose the species (Red Fox or Coyote) from a dropdown menu and automatically categorize the observation for us. Thank you!

are there also gray foxes in the area or are Red Foxes the only fox?
There is a chance of seeing grey foxes around, but the odds are very small. The vast majority of foxes here in Madison are reds.
