Museum Volunteers for the Environment, or MUVE, is the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science's volunteer based restoration project. MUVE uses social media, eco-art, and museum exhibits to engage local residents to restore coastal habitats that once thrived in Miami. Since 2007, over 5,000 volunteers have restored more than 15 acres of mangroves, freshwater wetlands, and coastal forest. We invite you to join our efforts to bring back these habitats and the economic and ecological services they provide by contributing to this project, or by volunteering with us to plant native plants. less ↑
