iNaturalist Bioblitz Meet Up at Meadowside Nature Center this summer - June 16th from 10-1pm
@anolis23 has invited us to participate in a Bioblitz this summer at Meadowside Nature Center in Rockville, MD. I know this is a long time off, but Alberto needs to select a date to put it on the Nature Center calendar. So it would be great if we could get a preliminary show of hands for preferred dates among this group. The following dates are on the table:
- June 9th - PM
- June 16th - Any time
- July 7th - Any time
The nature center may be able to provide a shuttle from the Glenmont metro station, so this will be great for those of us without cars. Please let us know if you would like to participate and if any of these dates won't work for you.
For this first round, I'm tagging past field trip participants and a few people that have a lot of observations near Meadowside Nature Center. Once the event draws closer, we'll cast a wider net. If I have tagged you but are not interested in following the discussion, let me know, and I'll take you off the tag list.

Both dates in June work for me, but I will be out of town on July 7.

We have an official date and time for our iNaturalist event. It will be on June 16th from 10-1pm, but of course you are all welcome to stay longer, just let me know if you plan to use the shuttle so that I can coordinate the pick-up and drop-off times. As we get closer to the date I will send some updates and further details.

I totally missed this earlier post. I think it happened when notifications were broken for journal posts. Unfortunately (kind of?), I'll be in Nevada that day starting an RV trip with my family. Sorry to miss it!
However, I will be at a bioblitz on June 2 in Reston, VA. Tagging @pgreenberg who has been my point of contact for that event.

Great! @treegrow I will plan on picking you up at around 9:30am Ok? @calopteryx will you be using the shuttle or driving directly to Meadowside? I will be in a white van or ford escape with a Montgomery Parks logo. If anyone is planning on being picked up please let me know by tomorrow.
