Wildlife Friends of Hoyt Park Inaugural Post

Do you love the natural world and technology! Well, now you can have both right in Hoyt Park. Use your mobile device to capture photos of Hoyt Park's wildlife and plants and submit to the new Wildlife Friends of Hoyt Park project. Even if you have no idea what you're photographing, submit anyway and the iNaturalist community will help you identify the mystery species. Now is the time to search for breeding birds and invertebrates! Do you take your dog for a walk in the morning or afternoon? Have you seen a plant or bird that your curious about but forget about it by the time you get home? Snap a picture and submit en route or back at your desktop. Friends of Hoyt Park plans to have a plant or animal species of the month on our website and social media. Check back as we start creating a species list for Hoyt Park. Have fun!
