Mark, we're using Pelham's A CATALOGUE OF THE BUTTERFLIES OF THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA as our Butterfly source and he considers Heraclides a subgenus of Papilio http://www.butterfliesofamerica.com/t/Papilio_cresphontes_a.htm. Are you cool with me reversing this swap?

I won't complain if you reverse this.

However, butterfliesofamerica.com does not indicate which name is preferred, having a full page for each synonym. For instance, http://butterfliesofamerica.com/L/t/Heraclides_cresphontes_a.htm lists Heraclides cresphontes and does not call it a subspecies. That's why I moved this.

Then there's Heraclides rumiko, which does not also appear in butterfliesofamerica.com as Papilio rumiko. How do you explain this being in a separate genus from cresphontes, which it was recently split from?

yeah this is frustrating - butterfliesofamerica.com seems schizophrenic on this, more here: https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_merges/9920
