There are a lot of clades in Dryopteridaceae (including the family itself!) that don't have a good morphological circumscription.
@choess grafting of Parapolystichum, formerly Lastreopsis to Elaphoglossoideae at least seems unusual, hard to believe this shall not be within Dryopteridoideae as it closely resembles other genera of. Got my doubts in case this was another result of molecular comparison.
