Do you know any of the folks @ http://www.millibase.org/ ? Looks like Anthony Barber, Petra Sierwald, and Jörg Spelda. Would be great to see if there's a path for getting them to make updates for issues raised on iNat like this one. We've been able to do that with other External References (e.g. Darrell Frost for Amphibians and Peter Uetz for Reptiels).
Yes I know them and I'm millibase/worms editor for Polydesmida too. I plan to make edits for Xystodesmidae (Polydesmida) to millibase soon. We're finishing a large molecular phylogeny of the family, which will synonymize a couple other families into Xystodesmidae, and change many of the eastern apheloriine names. After publication of this article (late 2020), would be a good time to make updates to Xystodesmidae.
oh cool - well it would be much easier on the iNat side if you could make these changes to millibase/worms and then they can be automatically updated here. Alternatively, we could deviate from Millibase but its requires a lot of curation work. Is the former possible?
