Sorry, I have seen this too late...
On the other hand the taxon swap is absolutely correct because it is only a cultivar.
Would it be possible to simply create a project for mapping this invasive cultivar in NZ?
I am sure that they can use an observation field just as effectively.
There was a thread about this somewhere. I dont have time to hunt it down.
The Zealanders wont be happy. Although irregular, I think they were monitoring this cultivar as an alien invasive.
