Heads up: Some or all of the identifications affected by this split may have been replaced with identifications of Quinquefoliae. This happens when we can't automatically assign an identification to one of the output taxa. Review identifications of Pinus strobus 52391

What am I supposed to do when this happens & what does it mean?

Hi @larryglatt, this taxon change split of Mexican populations of Pinus strobus as Pinus chiapensis as part of elevating Pinus strobus var. chiapensis to species level. You don't have to do anything. Since your observations of Pinus strobus aren't from Mexico they weren't affected. But its just a heads up that 'what we mean' by Pinus strobus on the site is now narrower than what we meant before. Let me know if you have any other questions
