Native freshwater fish and ecology geek. I am the national coordinator of the Whitebait Connection programme which is umbrellered by the Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust. We offer community education and engagement experiences in freshwater aimed at inspiring and supporting conservation action for freshwater around Aotearoa - some of our current projects include Inanga Spawning site identification and restoration, free community native fish spotlighting nights events, and community catchment restoration through instream monitoring and riparian planting. We love to collaborate and are currently operating in Northland, Auckland, Gisborne, Wellington, West Coast and Canterbury.
