I have spent my entire life observing nature and exploring the wilderness. Growing up with an ornithologist as a father, and a wildlife interpreter as a mother, I spent the majority of my childhood learning about wildlife. I started birding from the moment I could walk, and I have traveled the globe on family vacations in search of unique birds.

I graduated from Santa Clara University in 2014 with a degree in Environmental Science. I have worked many summers as a field technician conducting a wide range of avian and floristic surveys. I am currently working as a restoration ecologist in the San Francisco bay area supporting large scale habitat restoration projects.
